13 ways you can fix Google Play Store ‘Download Pending’ error

Whether you just got a brand new phone, or want to repurpose an older phone, you would think the process for downloading your apps is simple. However, from time-to-time, you may run into the dreaded spinning circle for your downloads. This “Download Pending” error has happened to everyone at some point in time, but here are some ways you can knock the webs out.

Simply turning off Bluetooth can have some effects on getting apps to download or update properly. According to the Google Support Forums, owners of Samsung devices have gotten their apps to download again just after turning off Bluetooth. Then, you can proceed to turn it back on again after the apps have downloaded.

  1. Swipe down to reveal the Quick Tiles widget in the Notification Shade.
  2. Tap the Bluetooth icon.
