It has been INCREDIBLY difficult to pick winners with such an amazing assortment of reviews. For that reason, I wanted to take a moment to share some of (what I think) are the top reviews over the past four days. When choosing the winners we often had to narrow it down to 5 or 7 that all could have easily won… unfortunately we can only announce one winner!

  4. got on the “top picks” for ALL three days, apparently i’m doing something right.

    but he’s still leaning towards people with video reviews, and it kind of irks me that people winning these phones are just going to ebay them or something.

    oh well, i’ll keep making reviews until i run out of apps i have experience with from shy short 30 days romp with a Hero on Sprint.

    We’re not leaning toward reviews with videos, believe it or not. In fact we were almost TRYING to find winners without videos because of statements like that. But it’s just that most the top picks happen to have them, and.. they’re good reviews. Without the videos. They’re just good. Is there some correlation between people willing to write out and format really top notch reviews and people who are willing to go a step further and record (or find an existing) video? I dunno.

    I wouldn’t watch a video unless I liked what I read anyway.

    So no, by no means are we looking for reviews with videos. But they don’t hurt. ;)

  8. I suggest giving this contest some REAL life: instead of giving the winners phones, give them girls that look like the one in the picture with the “and the winner is…” sign!

  9. OMG!! i can’t believe i won! this is so awesome! and so great to get mentions for all my other reviews! thanks so much! I’m super hyped right now haha! And no worries guys, I have no intentions of selling my EVO when I get it. Just selling my Hero ;-) and you don’t need video. I didn’t have video in any of mine.

  15. Is it just me, or am I not able to send a PM to Rob? Whatever I send disappears, nowhere to be found in my sent folder. Or maybe he is getting them and I’m just spamming his inbox. If the latter’s the case… oops!

  16. @coasterman927 – There is a box underneath the message box that you have to check. It says something like, “send copy of this message to your Sent folder” =) I was thinking the same thing before i saw that. I don’t want anything to mess this up haha

  17. Wow, I didn’t expect to win! Thanks guys. :)

    I am still going to write some reviews though, to hopefully encourage others to do so. Reviews make games/apps a whole lot easier to buy, and I think everyone should do at least one!

    My review was long, but I didn’t take any screenshots or videos–I used ones already available online. Don’t think you have to do EVERYTHING on your own!
