Samsung isn’t the only one getting the media together for some fun in the sun today. In case you’ve forgotten, Facebook also has a press briefing at its headquarters later on today. We weren’t entirely sure what the company would be announcing, but the latest rumors suggest they’ll definitely be introducing a big new feature for Instagram — video clips. This would allow Facebook’s wildly popular image-based social network to compete with its biggest competitor’s — Twitter — Vine.
We won’t hang our hat on the notion just yet, but that’s all we have to go on. What better way to see what, exactly, Facebook is announcing by watching it online? A live stream will be commencing at 1pm eastern / 10am pacific, so be sure to make your way back here for the live stream around that time as we’ll be updating this post with the stream player.
