Every day, developers are pushing applications to the Android market which makes the platform popular for mobile business professionals. The latest to enable your employees comes by way of FuzeBox who just launched FuzeMeeting for Android.

The app comes with some pretty cool features. You’re given the ability to view shared desktops with everyone in the meeting so you don’t get lost when an example is presented. You’ll be able to listen to and watch high quality audio and video, and you can even share your own images and videos to everyone else in the meeting directly from your Android phone.

We have anticipated the rapid adoption of Android in the workplace for quite some time,” remarks Jeff Cavins, CEO of Fuze Box. “As a company, we saw it as a vital move to develop a version of our software to seamlessly allow global Android users, the ability to participate in meetings with the same ease and proficiency as they have become accustomed to with our web experience.  We believe that being the first to market with an Android based collaboration app leaves us well poised as the leader in online meeting space.

The app itself is available right now for free on the Android market, but swing over to Fuze’s website to get more details on pricing as well as the opportunity to try it out for free. Press details are straight ahead.

Looks like your tips link is broke… So here it goes anyway: http://androidcommunity.com/google-to-focus-on-ui-for-gingerbread-20100616/

Gingerbread bringing UI upgrade to make skins no longer needed.. WOOT!!! means faster updates for everyone, right?

  3. oh and by tip link being broke, i mean the captia pic isn’t loading. Not sure if everyone is having that problem or just me

  4. Nice removal of criticism, another excellent way to keep customers coming back.

  5. EBlake: that’s good and it will end much of the fragmentation. OEM’s put custom UI’s because they feel Android needs to look better in order for their phones to sell.
I wonder if we will see the fruits of that Palm UI guy…and Bumptop, which they have recently acquired (though that makes more sense for a google tablet)
