Samsung GT-i5801 Caught On Video

2

Remember that phone we thought could be the Samsung Galaxy 3? Well, the phone exists in the wild, but we’re still not sure on its marketing name, right now. The GT-i5801 looks a lot like the Samsung Galaxy A that just enjoyed a South Korean launch not too long ago. Howard Chui got his hands on the device and was willing to step behind the camera and give the phone some exposure time.

As we concluded from the suspiciously low screen resolution in the phone’s user agent profile, it’s going to be an entry-level handset. There are still some uncertainties in regards to its final resolution, but 240×400 seems to be a safe number to quote, for now. Also confirmed is 3G, WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 3.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD support.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.
