HTC Vive now ships within 3 days, and demos expand to over 100 stores

Looks like HTC has greatly improved the availability of the HTC Vive. Instead of lengthy backorders and delays, you’ll get a device quite soon after you buy it — within 3 business days, promises HTC.

Furthermore, HTC revealed that they will expand demo availability to over 100 retail locations, including the following expansions:

Microsoft Stores will expand from 29 to 51 locations, GameStop will increase demo locations from 10 to 40, and Micro Center will add 5 more locations for a total of 10.

The HTC Vive demo experiences give you a nice full room to play around in, so you’ll get a good idea of how the VR headset will function once you get it into your home. Be sure to find a location nearest you by heading to HTC’s website.
