The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

Honeycomb to be out in February by way of Next-Gen Tablets?

  1. Fabulous update love the new 4×4 widget. Quickly became my favorite media player.

  2. is it just me or did they get rid of the swiping animation?

  3. wait, my bad, it works when going from one album art to another, but not within the same album anymore.

  4. I wish the live wallpapers that react to the media worked :(

  5. The only time I saw it do the swipe-animation on the same album, was when playing a compilation.

Anyways, hands down the best portable music app to date IMO! The only thing that would make it better, is an install to SD option.

  6. I’m going to go ahead and echo the majority sentiment. This is one of the best!

  7. Does the lock screen widget work with Sense UI phones? I couldn’t get the old version to have it working on my Incredible. And lock screen widget is a deal breaker.

  8. Let me know when it truly supports gapless LAME-encoded MP3s, as well as AACs encoded by Nero or iTunes.

  9. I like it I just wish there was a way to organize it by artist -> albums -> tracks

  10. Am I the only one that’s grown tired of traditional ways of viewing albums? I mean searching through list is so boring to me after using iPod’s cover flow and 3 aka Cubed on Android. Don’t get me wrong I like the design of this app but if the UI is just like everything else its kind of boring and redundant. I’m not saying this isn’t a good app just not what I look for in a music app anymore. I do love the equalizer though.

  11. Where is crossfading & gapless playback?
    Nothing extraordinary about it!!

  12. @Brando

Folder view mate – so long as your music collection is organised. :)

  13. Unfortunately I had to uninstall this app as much as I love it. It absolutely killed my battery and here is what I think it was doing. It would leave the backlight of my screen on, start playing without my consent (even while on a call, and would reboot my phone periodically. I couldn’t get 4 or 5 hours out of my battery with this installed. I unistalled the app and everything is back to normal. Anybody else experience any of this? I am using a DX.

  14. 2C, you should checkout the app “PlayerPro” – I like the way they use album covers and artist images in a 2-column format. Much nicer way of navigating than a list, IMO.

  15. No folder support yet…..MMM have to stick with Meridian

  16. Does this app support replay gain? All my music is in flac format with individual replay gain codes.

  17. I guess it is giving me the ultimate of 2 weeks, how could I get the full version?
