Samsung targeting mid-November launch for the Samsung Gear S3

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 may have fallen flat on its face, but that doesn’t mean Samsung will stop trekking forward with their other endeavors. We’re still waiting on the Samsung Gear S3 to make its way into stores everywhere, and the wait might not be too long from now.

Korea Times reports that Samsung is targeting a mid-November launch for the Samsung Gear S3, and that prices will likely fall into the $350 range. The device was originally announced late August, so a 2.5-month wait seems quite lengthy compared to what we’re used to from Samsung these days. Of course, they’ve had other things to worry about as of late so perhaps we aren’t too surprised.

In any case, if you haven’t outright abandoned Samsung and still think they’re about to offer one of the best smartwatches on the market, you can look forward to slapping one onto your wrist in a month’s time. In the meantime, be sure to take a closer look at the Gear S3 in our hands-on from earlier this year.
