Pokémon Go finally making its way to more users

0

The craze surrounding Pokémon Go has been unreal, and it’s still not done being rolled out to everyone yet. Initially, Nintendo and Niantic Labs rolled the popular game out to those in just three countries before halting its worldwide domination release due to server issues. Then we saw a plethora of options appear to give users a way to download and install the unofficial APK before the app makes its appearance on the Play Store. This led to some issues with malicious APK files granting itself a bit more information than the official application does.

Fast forward to today, in just 6 days, Pokémon Go has been installed over 10 million times on Android alone. We don’t know the numbers behind iOS users, but rest assured that number is pretty huge as well. What makes this even better is the fact that Niantic Labs has just pushed an update to the application that makes it compatible with the Android 7.0 Nougat beta software. So the out reach will be even larger than it currently is.

Finally, those in the U.K. and Europe are getting their taste of Pokémon Go as Germany users have confirmed that the application has arrived on the Play Store. It’s crazy to think that a game that took over my world when I was younger, has done the same thing now that I’m in my mid-20’s. We’ll see how long Nintendo/Niantic Labs can keep users playing, but for now, I need to go catch that Pinsir across the street. If you want to learn how to do the same, check out Phandroid’s How-To as well as the gear you need to take to be come the best Pokémon trainer you possibly can.
