Amazon has introduced a new variant of its Fire HD 10 tablet, complete with 64GB of storage and a fancy new metal enclosure.

Fire HD 10 Silver Aluminum

Announced in September of 2015, the device is the largest tablet Amazon has manufactured and with these improvements they are looking to provide a new premium experience.

Other than being able to purchase this device in Silver Aluminum and with 64GB of storage, the rest of the components remain the same.

Specs:

  • 10.1-inch, 1280 x 800 IPS HD display
  • 1.5GHz quad-core chipset, 1GB of RAM
  • 16GB/32GB/64GB, expandable up to 128GB
  • 5.0 megapixel rear camera + front camera capable of shooting up to 720p video
  • Dual-band WiFi AC, Bluetooth LE
  • 8 hours of battery
  • 262 x 159 x 7.7 mm, 432 g for 10-inch

The new Fire HD 10 is available today for $289.99 with special offers, or $304.99 without. The Fire HD 10 is by no means a powerhouse tablet, but it’s definitely a modest one that should be considered if you’re looking for a way to consume your Amazon media.
