Batman is the latest to get Telltale Games’ episodic storytelling treatment, and it’s headed to mobile

Telltale games and Warner Brothers made a big announcement at last night’s video game awards — Batman is getting its own episodic game! Mind you, the Batman IP was never in need of a great game (Arkham Knight and all the prior entries in that series are considered the best Batman games ever), but to get Telltale’s knack for delivering a powerful decision-driven story and their trademark art style coupled with Gotham City and the Batman universe is enough to get excited for.

The details are thing right now, but we do know the game will land in 2016, and will be available for PC, consoles and mobile alike. Telltale didn’t specifically name any platforms, but considering Android has gotten every release up to this point we’d say it’s safe to expect its arrival at Google Play. Unfortunately Telltale hasn’t yet published the nice teaser they revealed at the show last night, but we’ll be sure to bring it straight to you once it goes live.

Love Batman but not sure what Telltale Games is all about? Check out some of the free episodes from their work on The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and The Wolf Among Us to get a taste of what’s to come for Bruce Wayne and the rest of Gotham’s interesting cast of characters.
