Another 7 days have passed, which means it’s time for another recap! There was a ton of exciting Android news this week on the site. As summer approaches the tech news starts heating up, too. If you were busy enjoying some of the early warm weather you may have missed some of the bigger stories this week. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. May 6th – Looks like HTC has the desire to one-up pretty much every major manufacturer with a smartphone out right now. Some newly rumored specs for the HTC One M8 “Prime” have surfaced, and it’s definitely nothing we’re comfortable sneezing at. This gigantic phone will be a successor to HTC’s phablet from last generation. Will it be enough to compete with Samsung’s near monopoly on giant phones?
May 5th – Blurry cam photos and in-the-wild shots of the LG G3 be damned – official press renders are about to take over. The LG G3 has been leaked in full glory ahead of its May 27th unveiling. The press render seen in this image is with a case on the device, but we can still get a decent look at it. We’ve also seen the device in a few other leaked images. LG’s successor to the ultra-popular G2 is looking nice.
May 6th – Android is a hot bed for malicious malware. This malware is so dangerous that it can destroy your phone, and even your life if you’re not careful. The worst part is it’s already happening to you right now! There is no place to hide! It’s everywhere! At least that’s what some people want you to believe. We’re here to set the record straight. May 8th – Word on the street is Apple is looking to buy Beats Music. Sounds like a match made in heaven given both companies share a very special quality. Can you guess what that is?
