Phandroid – Best of CES 2024

0

Every year at CES, companies from all around the world come together to showcase their products. Some of these products are things that you can actually buy, and some of them are proof-of-concepts that allow companies to show off their technology and things that they are working on.

With so many devices, cars, some home appliances, and gadgets, we’ve rounded up some of our favorites of CES 2024. So if you’re looking for the best of CES 2024, read on to find out!

ASUS ROG Phone 8

The ASUS ROG Phone 8 is the successor to the ROG Phone 7. The new gaming smartphone from the company comes with an updated more “grown up” design that looks more sleek and less garish. It is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and comes with gaming features like built-in shoulder triggers and a cooling fan accessory.

Rabbit R1

When we think of AI, we think of software found on our phones or the web. With the Rabbit r1, the company has created a handheld AI-powered device that can do everything you might expect from an AI assistant. This includes booking flights, playing music, sending messages, controlling smart home appliances, and more. One of the benefits of the Rabbit r1 is that users won’t have to interact with individual apps for it to work as it can learn directly from the way you use them.

Samsung Music Frame

Samsung’s The Frame TV took the concept of a picture frame and transformed that into a TV. The company has expanded on that by utilizing a similar concept, except that they’ve applied it to a speaker. This allows users to hang the speaker on their walls like a piece of art, and when combined with Samsung’s TVs, can help create a surround sound effect without taking up too much space in your home.

Xgimi Horizon Max

The Xgimi Horizon Max is a long throw smart projector that comes with the IMAX Enhanced certification. It features a motorized gimbal that will allow the projector to determine the best location to project your content. The projector uses an updated Dual Light 2.0 technology with a triple laser system for extended color range, and a phosphor light to reduce imperfections.

Infinix E-Color Shift Technology

Generally speaking, most smartphone makers pay attention to the design of their devices, but for the most part, it can get boring. Users can customize the looks of their phones through cases, but Infinix’s E-Color Shift Technology turns that on its head by using E Ink Prism 3 display technology. This allows users to customize the backs of their phones anytime they want with all sorts of unique patterns and colors.

Clicks

If you miss the good old days of the BlackBerry, Clicks is here to bring that experience of a physical keyboard to the iPhone. Clicks is basically an iPhone accessory that allows users to type using a physical keyboard. One of the benefits is that it will allow users to utilize the full display of their iPhone, which would otherwise be hidden with the onscreen keyboard.

Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid

Some people carry around both laptops and tablets. Laptops could be used for school or work, while tablets might be for entertainment. With the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Gen 5 Hybrid, it combines both technologies into a single device. The best part is that it runs on both Windows and Android, so if you need an Android tablet to access your games and apps, it can, but it can also run on Windows if you need to use productivity apps. Pretty cool!

ViXion01

Due to medical/health issues or age, our eyesight can be affected and focusing on things becomes harder. This is where the ViXion01 comes in. This is a pair of smart glasses that does the focusing for the user when it is worn. This will be immensely useful when you’re at home and you need to read a book or a website, read labels on food products, watch TV, and so on.

Eureka Dual Washing Bot

Washing machines, dryers, and robot vacuums are usually separate devices, but Eureka is challenging that notion with the Eureka Dual Washing Bot. This is a washing machine that pulls triple duty as a dryer and also houses a robot vacuum and mop! This means that if you need to wash and dry your clothes AND make sure your floors are spotless, this 4-in-1 device is the perfect solution. Seeing as how washing machines and dryers need to be connected to your drain and water system, it means that it can drain and refill the water of the robot vacuum and mop by itself.

Laifen Wave

There are dozens of electric toothbrushes out there, but if you want one that’s modern looking and affordable, the Laifen Wave could be it. Sporting a modern and sleek design, the Wave is a smart electric toothbrush that comes with an accompanying app that allows users to control the strength and modes of the toothbrush. The toothbrush also offers oscillation and vibration that will improve brushing efficiency by as much as 3x.
