The OnePlus 11 has been officially announced for the US and Canada

Earlier this year, OnePlus officially announced their latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 11. The handset was initially announced for China, but seeing as how OnePlus typically launches its phones in many markets around the world, it was only a matter of time before they brought it to the US, and sure enough they have.

OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 11 will be making its way to both the US and Canadian markets in the coming weeks, so if you liked what you saw earlier this year, then mark the 16th of February down on your calendar because that’s when the phone will be going on sale.

As a quick recap for those who missed the initial announcement, the OnePlus 11 will feature a 6.7-inch LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. It will also be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will be available in 8GB or 16GB RAM variants, and storage between 128GB or 256GB.

The handset will also sport a triple camera setup on the back that was made in collaboration with Hasselblad. This will include a main 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor, a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide, and a 32MP Sony IMX709 telephoto. It will also pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for charging speeds of up to 100W.

In addition to the OnePlus 11, OnePlus has also taken the wraps off the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 true wireless earbuds. These earbuds will feature support for spatial audio, and apparently are the first true wireless stereo earbuds to support spatial audio stability and compatibility for Android. There is also TUV-certified Smart Adaptive Noise Cancellation which can help eliminate ambient noise up to 48dB.

The earbuds also feature an EQ that has been tuned by Oscar-winning composer, Hans Zimmer, and also feature a partnership with Danish loudspeaker manufacturer, Dynaudio, to help co-create the MelodyBurst Dual Drivers that the company claims will help deliver a deeper, fuller, and more textured dynamic bass along with “pristine” vocals.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will have a total battery life of up to 39 hours when used together with its accompanying charging case.

The OnePlus 11 will be priced starting at $699 for the base 8GB + 128GB model, while the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will go for $179 and will also be available for order on the 16th of February.
