Gamevil’s “Zenonia” Franchise is Set to Make a Comeback

0

If you (like us) were around for the heyday of mobile gaming on Android, then you might be familiar with the “Zenonia” franchise, a series of mobile role-playing games developed and published by Gamevil. It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the games, but it looks like a new title is under development, aimed at revitalizing the franchise soon.

According to a report from the folks over at Droid Gamers, the new entry will be titled “Zenonia Chronobreak,” and will feature MMORPG-style gameplay, a deviation of sorts from earlier games in the series. It was announced back in 2020, although an absence of updates (until now, at least) have left many wondering about the development of the new game.

Other factors come into play, as Gamevil was reformed into Com2Us holdings sometime in 2021. The game is also reported to feature NFT elements, which depending on your stance on the entire matter, can either be good or bad. With that said, there’s very little info on the game, and other details such as pricing and release have yet to be revealed, so Zenonia fans and newcomers alike will have to do a bit more waiting.
