Samsung wants you to “get ready to unfold” at Unpacked on August 11th

The time has finally arrived. Samsung has announced that the next Unpacked event will be taking place on August 11th. This is expected to be one of the largest Unpacked events that we’ve ever seen, with a myriad of devices likely to be announced.

As the invitation shows, Samsung wants you to “get ready to unfold”. It shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, given that we’re expecting to see the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 announced at the event. But that’s not all you should expect to see on August 11th.

Samsung’s next-generation wearables could be announced, consisting of the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. In recent weeks, we’ve seen more details arrive in regards to these smartwatches, as Samsung has seemingly moved away from the “Active” line in favor of bringing back the “Classic”.

Whenever Samsung announces a new device (or two), the company usually has some type of promotion going on to help offset the cost of whatever you pre-order. This trend continues, as the company is offering a bonus trade-in credit and 12 months of Samsung Care+ at a lower cost than normal.

However, in order to take advantage of this deal, you’ll need to sign up through Samsung’s Reservation page and provide your email. Then, when the devices are made available for pre-order, using that same email address will net you those aforementioned discounts.

Samsung Unpacked will kick off at 10 am ET / 7 am PT on Wednesday, August 11th. The company will be live streaming the event on Samsung.com, and we wouldn’t be surprised if it’s also available to watch on YouTube. Keep your eyes peeled, as we’ll have plenty of coverage on the next batch of great Samsung Android phones and smartwatches.
