New Chromebook owners will get 3 months free access to Disney+

One of the upsides to buying a Chromebook over more traditional Windows or macOS based laptops is that in general, they’re cheaper and more affordable, making it an ideal purchase for customers such as students who might not need such a powerful laptop and only need to do work on.

If you are shopping for a new Chromebook, you might want to take note that Google is currently running a promotion where new Chromebook customers will be given a free 3-month subscription to Disney+, who for those unfamiliar is Disney’s new video streaming service.

All new customers will need to do is activate their new Chromebook between the 25th of November, 2019 to the 31st of January, 2020 and they will be given free access to Disney+ for the next 3 months. Following that, you will need to start paying for a Disney+ subscription if you wish to keep the service active.

Google notes that those who take part in this promotion will be automatically enrolled in an auto-renewing subscription, so you will need to manually cancel your subscription if you do not wish to keep subscribing, otherwise it will automatically renew and you will be charged from the fourth month onwards. More details about this promotion can be found on Google’s Chromebook website.
