With your personal health and safety, you can never be too careful! Accidents and incidents happen all the time. People fall ill suddenly and need personal help, either by ambulance services or passers-by. Having an emergency contact or important information may need to know about the person’s general health if they’re unconscious and unable to answer important medical questions. Since our smartphone is typically the device we carry with us all the time, that information can be made readily available from the lock screen.

In this guide, we will show how to add this emergency information to your Android devices. If your specific device isn’t listed below, sound off in the comments and we will try our best to update the list.

It’s worth noting, however, that some manufactors will have an ability to place this information as a note on your lockscreen or it can be accessed using the lockscreens emeregency button. Your devise may vary, so be sure to check to see where your information can be found!
