A new update is available for users of Seesmic’s Android app. In its latest version Seesmic gains the ability to view Instagram and Twitter posts within a user’s timeline, direct image uploads to Twitter, and the expected bug fixes and software tweaks. That’s certainly worth the download, but some will be disappointed to find that the new update is ad supported. But there is a method to that madness.
For those that can’t be bothered with advertising, Seesmic Pro is now available bringing all the features of the latest update plus a few premium ones to boot. Priced at $2.99 you can say bye bye to the ads, as well. The main draw here is the ability to combine your Facebook and Twitter streams on one screen for a unified viewing experience.
