White Droid RAZR Now Available from Verizon

30

Though folks are lining up for the Galaxy Nexus, it isn’t the only handset Verizon is releasing today. Also newly available is a white-washed version of the uber-slim Motorola Droid RAZR. Other than some new white trim, specs remain the same throughout, including a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED Plus display and 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Pricing remains constant, as well. The white RAZR is on sale now for $299 with a new two-year service agreement.

    1. You mean that line of people wasn’t for the white Razr?

    2. Enough said!

  1. If only I could remove the battery…

  2. OMG I’VE BEEN WAITING FOREVER FOR THIS!!! I CANT WAIT TO GET IT!!! I’M GOING TO VERIZON RIGHT NOW TO BUY IT!

    1. Are you being sarcastic? Cus there is a font for that now.
or if you weren’t….we understand I’ve just had a good look at your profile picture!!!

  3. There’s a line for it at my Verizon!

  4. LOLZ

  5. i bet each VZW store only has around 10-15 Nexi. “Oh sorry, we’re out, but if you’d like…we just got these in….” *rollz eyez*

    1. That’s asking for a punch to the eye and then a figure four leg lock.

  6. One word. Three syllables.

    D I s g u s t I n g

  7. funny they call it “White” when the whole front and back of it are black

  8. Do you know how many more millions of these they could have sold if they would have branded it the stormtrooper droid………..another Verizon fail!

    1. Lol it does look kinda Stormtrooper-ish… Coulda had the Star Wars logo on the back and it would been a wrap.  Nerds from everywhere buying this thing.

  9. There’s no way in hell I’d buy this over the GNX.

However, I realize I’m in the extreme minority when I say I think this actually looks pretty slick.

  10. Not 100% white!!!!!!

  11. Motorola sucks… So does Samsung.. and LG, and every other phone manufacturer that isnt HTC.

    1. enjoy your out of date qualcomm CPUs and fatass rezound

  12. Gah! I threw up in my mouth a little when I first seen this albino abomination. Why did they take a cool-looking phone and do that to it? *shudder*

  13. As I type this response on my brand new Galaxy Nexus, I think about how happy I am I dont have a Droid Razr. Not even a comparison in my mind. I was messing with one in the store this morning while waiting for my GNex and am so happy I dont have to deal with Motos blurrified overlay.

    1. There is a way to not have to deal with the blurrified overlay. You spend about 13 seconds downloading an alternate launcher – Go Launcher EX, ADW EX, Launcher Pro, Open Home, GDE, there’re tons of them. I understand your point, but it’s not like you’re stuck with it if you don’t want it.

      1. I was waiting for someone to say that haha. Very true sir. Im just not a fan of Motos UI thats all :)

        1. LOL, neither am I. Last year, when I went from an OG Droid to a Droid 2 (insurance replacement, and believe me – I didn’t want the D2), I didn’t realize the extent of it. When I first turned the phone on, and saw Blur, I literally said out loud, “What the hell is this?! Did they put a different OS on this thing?” It’s just…ugly. Ugly as sin. The newer blur looks nicer, but I’m with you, I’d much rather do without it.

  14. White Droid RAZR –

    It’s a Jersey thing.

    1. You can’t be that stupid! No one is this stupid!

      1. I hope you’re referencing the south park episode…

In that case: White Droid RAZR wants smoosh smoosh. ;-)

I kid I kid. It does resemble something a Stromtrooper would have and that’s cool. But it’s not for me. No thanks.

        1. You don’t watch south park do you?

  15. I actually switched back to moto for the new ui. Love the peoples widget better then any app and saves screen realestate. I’m glad chose the razr, not saying it’s better. But for me it is.

  16. Actually this article is not right. It’s using a 4.3″ Super AMOLED Advanced Display not Super AMOLED “Plus” display. Correct me if I’m wrong though :)
