Google Voice Gets Google Takeout Support, Commemorates With Humorous Video

2

Google has announced that Google Takeout has added support for Google Voice. If you don’t know, Google Takeout is a service in which users can export their data from the website to their computer for backup purposes. If for whatever reason you need to leave the service and come back later or if you just don’t trust Google’s servers, this is for you.

Google Takeout was first introduced when Google+ was unveiled and the tech firm has since made a goal of supporting as many servers as possible – Calendar, Gmail, Docs and more may all be in the support pipeline for the future. For now, we’re just glad our texts can be backed up (even if we do have faith in their servers). [Google]
