Unlocked Motorola Milestone XT720 For Sale at NewEgg

Though somewhat erroneously titled as the Motorola Milestone II, the XT720 is now available for purchase unlocked over at NewEgg for the hefty sum of $599.99. The phone has been available around Europe for a bit now and we have been under the impression that it may land on T-Mobile at some point, though we can’t be too sure as chatter has somewhat died down. What we do know is that its 850/900/1800/1900 MHz GSM bands make it compatible with AT&T and Rogers as well if you are on one of those networks and looking for an unlocked Android sporting a pretty decent set of specs.

The Milestone XT720 features a 720MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, 512MB of RAM, an 8MP camera with 720p video recording, and a 3.7-inch 480×854 TFT touchscreen display. It isn’t quite the Droid X or Droid 2, but if you need your Moto fix on a carrier that isn’t Verizon it could be the ticket.

  3. mmmm, maybe i’ll get it when price drops.

  4. Pretty slick little phone

  5. I would think about it if the price drops too.

  6. Unlocked sim or unlocked bootloader?

  7. Sim. It’s a non-subsidy price.

  8. Why would anybody pay 600 for a phone? if you were on a carrier like AT&T or tmobile that didn’t have “your Moto” fix why not cancel contract, pay fees n get the new moto phone like droid x for 200? Would be cheaper than paying 600 for this plus new droid x n droid 2 and evo (htc) are all nicer phones than this. Am I the only one that thinks these unlocked phones from other countries is dumb?

  9. You are fucking stupid CDogg. Get a fucking life.

  10. maybe some people want the freedom of SIM cards to switch their phone and what not. idk. its all opinionized. its nnot like you can just take your SIM out of a phone to keep some contact information if your phhone breaks on veriison or sprint. its these things you have tothink about. and if youll be able to add custom ROM cuz i hear droid has some gay eFuse crap.
