Wireless charging on the Galaxy S8 may be broken

0

A big problem with the Samsung Galaxy S8 and its compatibility with Qi wireless chargers is brewing. Reports are coming in that the device is seemingly not working with several wireless charging pads.

There currently doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to who is having issues. There are some people who are having problems with a specific charging pad and others with the same pad saying it works just fine.

As for the issues, they problems can range from the wireless chargers not fast charging, to not delivering a charge at all. And by the way, these very chargers worked just fine on the Galaxy S7, and since the Galaxy S8 is using the same wireless charging tech there should be no reason for any discrepancies.

But alas, there is, and we’re going to see if Samsung can comment on it. Let us know if you’re having any problems of your own in the comments section ahead.
