Google drops the Pixel and Pixel XL OTA and Factory Images for everyone

0

Last night, Google published the OTA and Factory Images for Android 7.1 Nougat on the Pixel and Pixel XL. When the Nexus program was pretty much removed from existence (*sobs*), there were some questions about whether would Google would continue publishing images for its latest devices. It seems, at least for now, Google is continuing the tradition with Android 7.1 Nougat.

The latest version of Android 7.1 Nougat for the Pixel and Pixel XL comes with the build number of NDE63P and you can download either the OTA file or the full image from the appropriate landing page. The company has already released an OTA for the Pixel and Pixel XL in an effort to fix some Wi-Fi connectivity issues.

If you want to get your supported device up to date, head to the Google Developers page to download the appropriate Factory Image. Remember to follow the flashing instructions to the “T” to avoid any risks or boot-loops while trying to update your device before Google starts seeding.
