When are you expecting Google to release Allo? [POLL]

0

At Google I/O 2016, we were promised a new messaging platform, Allo, to be released alongside Google’s new video chatting service, Duo. We saw the release of Duo back in August, but Google has mainly remained silent about the release of Allo and subsequently, Google Assistant.

Then came the above tweet from a Google developer, and co-technical lead of Allo, by the name of Justin Uberti after he was asked about a hint for the release date. “Around the world” was his answer, and that has led to many of us trying to figure out what exactly that means.

Check out of some of the answers that folks on Twitter or Reddit have come up with:

  • September 20th – A Tuesday and will be two weeks away from the rumored October 4th event and will meet Google’s “end of Summer” deadline
  • September 22nd – First day of Autumn 2016
  • October 8th – To commemorate “Around the world in 80 days”

Drop us a line below and let us know what you think the answer is, and in the meantime, let us know if you think Allo is ever going to be released.
