ASUS has introduced its latest tablet to the market, the ASUS ZenPad 3S 10. The device features a 9.7-inch QXGA display which rivals that of the iPad Pro at a resolution of 2048 x 1536. The ZenPad 3S 10 also features the “world’s thinnest bezel on a tablet” measuring in at 5.3mm and giving the tablet a screen-to-body ratio of 78%.

The ZenPad 3S 10 is also powered by a MediaTek 8176 processor and 64GB of onboard storage which can be expanded up to 128GB with a MicroSD card. However, one of the biggest additions to this new tablet is the inclusion of a fingerprint scanner which is a first for ASUS. The fingerprint scanner will not only keep your device secure but will also be able to take advantage of any authentication apps that support fingerprint scanners.

ASUS ZenPad 3S 10 Specs:

  • 9.7-inch display (2048 x 1536 resolution)
  • MediaTek 8176 processor
  • 4GB RAM
  • 64GB Storage expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD
  • 5,900mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 capabilities
  • Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Finally, the ZenPad 3S 10 features a 5,900mAh battery which is stated as being able to last for up to 10 hours of movie watching or 12 hours of web surfing. With the included Quick Charge 3.0 capabilities, ASUS is touting the recharge time to be about 3 hours before you’re back up to 100% battery life.

The ASUS ZenPad 3S 10 will be available later this year in either Glacier Silver or Titanium Grey. Pricing and availability have yet to be announced but it’s safe to assume it will be some time before the holiday season kicks off.
