New data shows the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 could sell even better than the Galaxy S7

0

Take this data however you want, but here it is. The Korea Herald reports that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is poised to be Samsung’s best-selling phone ever — in South Korea, that is. The device has amassed over 200,000 pre-sale orders since the opportunity went live. This figure is double that of which the Samsung Galaxy S7 enjoyed.

Of course, that’s one country in a sea of many. While we can’t say the same performance can be predicted for other regions, it’s worth noting that Korean interest in Samsung products largely sets the tone for how things will go in the rest of the world.

We aren’t really shocked if the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 does smash records, though. The device is Samsung’s most advanced yet, with the inclusion of an iris scanner and the S-Pen getting even better than it already was. Beyond that, it built on the foundation of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with a world of refinement shining through its design and features. There’s no doubt the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 will do well, the only question is how well.
