The update to fix your OnePlus 3 issues has been halted

0

Earlier today, we reported on the fact that OnePlus had started rolling out version 3.2 of Oxygen OS for the OnePlus 3. This update was intended to enable an sRGB display option and improved RAM management for users to actually be able to take advantage of the included 6GB of RAM with the OnePlus 3. Unfortunately, OnePlus has paused the rollout due to “reports of issues while upgrading”.

Due to some reports of issues while upgrading, we are temporarily stopping the rollout to investigate. We will start back up as soon as possible.

The update was supposed to be available to 100% of users within 48 hours, but it took a little more than half that time before OnePlus paused the update. There have been no reports as to what the issues were with the update, and how many users were affected, but according to users in the OnePlus Forums, many of the responses were that of joy as issues were being fixed.
