Google Maps wants you to help describe various locations and businesses

0

Google Maps is working on a backend update that would allow users to fill out various pieces of information about businesses and locations that you visit every day. In a way to help crowd-source information, this new update prompts you to describe various locations with the use of prompts.

The prompts ask you to ‘Suggest how to describe its features & atmosphere.’ From here, you will be guided to a new panel which has several different sections, depending upon the location that you’re providing information for.

This feature isn’t showing up for everyone, so it’s more than likely just in the works again. We’ll see if this shows up for everyone int he future, but it’s definitely a helpful feature that will assist you in finding the best place to go.
