Verizon HTC One M9 will see Android Marshmallow starting on February 16th

0

One by one, the HTC One M9 is starting to see the update to Android Marshmallow. Sprint users have had the update for about a week, but Verizon and T-Mobile users will be getting their taste of Google’s latest software. Last week it was announced that the T-Mobile HTC One M9 would start seeing the Android Marshmallow rollout starting on February 16th, and it turns out that the 16th will be the start of Verizon’s rollout.

Mo Versi, HTC’s VP, made the announcement and seems to be extremely excited. Surprisingly, Verizon’s HTC One M9 will not be the last to see the update, that title is currently being held by AT&T. AT&T customers with the M9 were already supposed to have the Marshmallow update, but it seems that there were some technical difficulties, so those users are still left waitin.

Here’s a good luck for everyone waiting for the One M9 to be updated without a hitch. Time will tell, but hopefully the roll out will be a smooth transition from Lollipop to Marshmallow.
