T-Mobile approves Marshmallow for the HTC One M9, rollout begins Tues, Feb 16th

Android 6.0 Marshmallow for the HTC One M9 continues making progress, traveling to different variants around the globe and delighting those lucky enough to receive it. The update actually began back in December for unlocked models, eventually making its way to the US where we saw Sprint variants receive the update only last week.

Next week, T-Mobile One M9 owners can finally join in on the fun, with HTC Product Manager Mo Versi revealing on Twitter that he’s received technical approval (updates have to be tested and green lit before carriers will push them out) and that the update is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, February 16th.

Once updated, Lollipop and horrors therein (we’re exagerrating… a tiny bit) will be nothing more than a fleeting memory.

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.
