By Android Pay is no longer just an avenue for wireless payments in-store — you can now use it to make purchases within Android apps! Google announced the newly-added functionality in a blog post today.
It’s simple: an app with Android Pay support will have a nice Android Pay button inside for in-app purchases. You tap it, and your preferred payment method on-hand is charged. Done. The merchant never sees your credit card information, either, so there’s that.
To celebrate, Google has partnered up with their initial partner developer to implement Android Pay and provide offers for using it. Here’s a full list of Android apps with Android Pay, as well as known deals you can get in on for using them:
