When (or if) you buy the Samsung Galaxy S6 or Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge (see our hands-on here), you’ll surely be entitled to free gifts. Digital gifts, mind you, but gifts nonetheless. They’ll come in the form of premium in-app offers and subscriptions from a variety of different services. Here’s the shortlist of apps that’ll have offers tied to them:

  1. VSCO
  2. Magisto
  3. Pac-Man Friends
  4. The Hobbit: Kingdoms
  5. Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs
  6. NYTimes
  7. The Economist
  8. Kindle for Samsung
  9. Audible
  10. Workout Trainer
  11. Endomondo
  12. Uber
  13. Keepy
  14. PayPal
  15. Life360
  16. LastPass
  17. Shazam
  18. Fleksy
  19. Evernote
  20. Pocket
  21. Parallels Access
  22. Hancom Office

That’s a lot of stuff, folks. Unfortunately all it is right now is a list of apps as Samsung has yet to come out and formally detail the offers. We’re sure we’ll hear more once the device’s April 10th launch date creeps up on us, but for now just know that you’ll be getting your money’s worth in more ways than one if you happen to buy their latest phones.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.

  1. Ah great, 22 additional bundled apps to add to Samsung’s already overly bloatwared phones.

    1. I think they may just be offered and not included in the phone unless you download them.

    2. yeah they are actually just optional. I thought it was bloat too at first.

      1. I see that now from the source…”UPDATE: Apparently, there’s some confusion regarding the apps. These apps and games are NOT pre-installed on the device. They can be downloaded from Samsung’s Galaxy Apps store”

  2. “Dragons of Atlantis: Heirs” is a “premium” app?

  3. HAHAHAHA!!!! no. you made your bed Samsung, now lay in it. Should have included, at the least, an sd card slot

    1. psh, SCORE

  4. its more desperate than Amazon doing these $114 dollar worth of free apps in my opinion. Sure, Amazon always has CRAPPY offerings, and these are not such. But its desperate none-the-less to attract buyers.

  5. Garbage offering.

    1. how dare you talk like that about PACMAN. I hope you stub your toe today! punk! haha jk

    2. As an iPhone user seriously considering the S6 as my first Android device, I find this is actually rather nice.

  6. Screw all that, Samsung and put an SD card slot on the phone instead :P

  7. “once the device’s April 10th launch date creeps up” such a delay just might mean we get to hear about the G4 first and then maybe the M9 and S6 will not matter. Delays from reveal to actual launch can mean bad things for sales. If I wait essentially 35-40 days, I might just wait a few more to see what is on tap for the G4.

    1. glad i’m not the only one who is looking forward for the G4

  8. What about 50GB for 2 years for free on dropbox?!

  9. Half of these apps are free to download on the Play Store.

  10. I wonder how that audible works?
Do we get free books for a year or what?
    Can’t WAIT for my s6Edge!

  11. Isn’t it true that you can no longer change batteries or put in a larger one? Bad idea.

  12. Am i the only one that actually still really wants the GS6 even without the expandable storage and Micro SD. The phone is beautiful, and has amazing specs, an amazing camera, and some of the added features are actually pretty neat. Otherwise, the features i don’t want are easy enough to turn off it seems, and the part i hate most about TW, the launcher, can easily be replaced by NOVA. Otherwise, I have my tablet and cloud storage for most of my media consumption and storage needs.

    1. Yeah, S6 with Nova seems like it will be my way forward. I was a sworn Samsung detractor since my S4, but there is no denying the goodness of this phone. Perhaps the battery life will be shite, that’s really my last hope.

      1. I was too, but then i got the Note 10.1 2014 for uni, and after putting Nova i realized that with Nova touchwiz really isnt that bad. If i had the money, I’d probably pick this phone up, looks amazing.

  13. Bloat~

    1. Its not installed on the phone dude.
