Despite Apple’s Best Efforts, US Judge Clears Galaxy S3 For Unhindered June 21st Launch

It was last week we learned of Apple’s efforts to throw a wrench into Samsung’s Galaxy S3 launch plans, filing a preliminary injunction that, if all went according to plan, would see a delayed launch of the Galaxy S3 here in the states. Well, it looks Samsung is off the hook with US District Judge Lucy Koh ruling that the companies would have to wait until July, before the trial could continue, given the judge’s busy calendar. This officially clears the Galaxy S3 for an unhindered June 21st take-off. It’s party time, boys and girls… for now.

  apple needs to stop their childish play b/c i’m pretty sure apple has infringed other companies’ patents. they need to grow up like other companies and join the competition to make better and innovative products i hope someday apple will be sued by other companies just to show them how stupid their decisions were suing Samsung, HTC & etc this is why i will never ever ever ever buy a product from crapple

    Yeah, I knew it was just a matter of time. Thats why I left VZW yesterday and went and got the Galaxy Note from AT&T. I live in a great area for AT&T’s 4G, so the usual downside of leaving Verizon wont affect me too much. 3GB of Data is plenty for me, considering I use WiFi 90% of the time. Bye bye VZW!!!

I’m sure the S3 will be worth the wait, but after the drawn-out delay in the Galaxy Nexus release, I feel fine choosing the Galaxy Note today over the possibility of getting an S3 in 2 weeks. 12 hours into my new contract and I’m still extremely satisfied with my decision!

  A straight forward comparison with a galaxy nexus or a gakaxy SII or any high end android device will be enough to make you switch. No need to worry about apple tantrum.
