Scalado launches photo gallery app for Android

Scalado, a digital imaging company best known for developing under-the-hood software for OEMs, has released their first Android app. Scalado Album is an easy-to-use, beautiful-in-its-simplicity photo and video viewer designed with performance in mind. Photos can range all the way to 200MP with full resolution zoom.

Scalado is a company that knows mobile photos, and with the app built on top of their proprietary imaging platform you can expect a quality experience. Scalado Album is available now for $0.99 in the Google Play Store.

  1. Does it allow vieing of photo’s stored in picasa? Because since G+ I am storing my photo’s there (yes I am aware of the reduced quality, that’s why I have the original on my desktop at home)

  2. Seems nice and most importantly very fast, however the app won’t work unless you untick ‘Force GPU Rendering’ in dev options, and I’m not willing to do that every time I want to use the app!

  3. Does it auto enable max brightness when viewing an image? — like QuickPic does?
