Instagram for Android received a very quick update, today. It fixed a few annoying errors that users have been suffering for the short time it’s been out. They’ve fixed an issue where some HTC devices (namely the HTC One X) was not supported, an issue which caused some cameras to crash, a “File not found” error message when importing an image from the gallery and an error which reported images being too small. And while it’s not an error, let’s hope they lift that file limit so we aren’t told our images are too big, what with all these 8 megapixel cameras floating around nowadays. Find the update in the Google Play Store.
Still waiting on the Water Drop “blur” feature that the iOS version of this App has.. Other than that, great App. Loving it.
Edit: Working great on my HTC Evo3D
False, still having issues. It caused my phone to reboot.
still sucks that you have to upload a 4:3 size picture and can’t do anything widescreen rectangular… i want to post full pics, not lame parts of pics.
Even after the update, the app still crashes when trying to use one of my own images. The update also caused me to develop anaffinity for Pabst Blue Ribbon and I woke up this morning with a sleezy moustache O_o
If you have a Galaxy nexus, check to see if you have force GPU rendering on. I have heard a few people having the same issue but fixed it by disabling that setting
Oh snap! I did and it worked! Thanks :D
that function working fine on my GN.
Doesn’t work on htc thunderbolt
haha instagram’s rating bombed all other camera apps
I downloaded instagram I still don’t get it. Let’s take a 5 megapixl phone camera and make the image look even more shitty by applying filters??
the app works on my Htc one x but i cant take pictures
I have a Nikon D80 that I use instead of a trendy wannabe iPhone app.
And I have a Canon Rebel, and I use that too. But I also like having my cell phone camera for when I don’t have my DSLR. Am I going to miss shots because I don’t have my camera? NO.
