UK retailer MobileFun has just released their pricing and availability info for the Samsung Galaxy S Advance, a handset announced earlier this week as yet another extension of the popular flagship series. The Advance combines a range of specs from across the Galaxy S universe to create a device that is powerful yet affordable. The SIM-free version of the handset is priced at a reasonable £349.95 when considering the phone’s 1GHz dual-core processor, 4.0-inch Super AMOLED display (that looks to have Galaxy Nexus-esque curve to it), and 8GB of internal storage.
Those looking to pick up the latest Galaxy S handset can expect it to start shipping on February 6th. MobileFun is taking pre-orders now.

If my usage of XE.com is correct, that amounts to 554.048 USD. Can’t you usually buy a top of the line phone in the us for around 600 bucks? I remember the Galaxy Nexus costing that off contract on release.
What’s the point?
phones are more expensive in the UK because of the sales tax (VAT) . Top end phones in the UK are £500+ . iphone 4s is £530.
