iHeart Radio Updated In The Android Market – New Custom Radio Stations

15

The iHeartRadio app has been updated in the Android Market to version 4.0.0. The app features a new updated UI along with the ability to create your own custom stations and fine tune your music by artist. Keep in mind, you will have to link to your Facebook account which could be a deal breaker for those that have moved permanently to Google+.

Of course, you still have iHeartRadio’s great selection of live radio stations broadcasted throughout the country so you should never find yourself without some great tunage. With a 10X better song selection than Pandora, iHeartRadio is a great choice for music lovers and will remain commercial free until the end of the year. You can find iHeartRadio for free right now in the Android Market.

I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

  1. Too bad they’re owned by right-wing nut jobs.

      1. I’m not sure what you’re asking or if it’s even a question.

  2. Hooray for right-wing nut jobs! I actually use the app to listen to Michael Savage since the station that played him went down when Hurricane Rita came through town.

    1. Be conservative all you want. I really don’t care. But seriously, Michael Savage? The guy is crazy. His website is hosted on World Net Daily. Do I need to say more?

      1. I like Michael Savage. He crazy =)

        1. Well then congrats on being a part of the problem with politics. Nobody is willing to have real discussions anymore. It’s always extreme left or extreme right without negotiation.

          1. In what world? The democrats are the liberal party of America but by no stretch of the imagination are they, or their commentators, “extreme left”.

          2. I’m mostly referring to protesters and internet comments. Liberal doesn’t equal Democrat. You’re trying to place blame on Republicans, but it’s really both parties that are in the toilet.

          3. I love to negotiate. I’m neither right nor left. Kinda in the middle but slightly to the right.

          4. Your Facebook says “Republican” so that pretty much puts you on the right. Even if your personal opinions aren’t mainstream Republican, you’re still electing people who’s opinions are. The Republican party doesn’t really have much diversity. It’s right, and extreme right. The Democratic party has tons of opinions from conservative all the way to socialist.

          5. *Referring to your comment on my post*

Looking back my post was more angry sounding than I meant it to be; my fault. I understand that liberal doesn’t equal democrat which is why I said that they are the, mainstream, liberal party of America.

As far as I’m concerned both parties have consistently proven they have no right to be elected I just see the Democrats as the lesser of two evils. Although I blame Republicans more I don’t condone the terrible decisions Democrats have made either.

  3. Not a Facebook user. Not a Google+ user. The lemmings continue to the cliff.

I do use iHeart radio sometimes to listen to Green960 (left wing radio).

  4. Too bad it’s linked to Facebook. Out of the 3 I have on my phone / Pandora, TuneIn and iheartradio, Pandora is the only one I use on a regular basis. I don’t see any of them toppling Pandora anytime soon.
