Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event trailer leaked

We know that Samsung is planning a new Galaxy Unpacked event where they will most likely announce their new foldable phones. Thanks to a tweet by the reliable Ishan Agarwal, a trailer for the event has been leaked online where according to the trailer’s caption, it tells us to “Get ready to unfold”.

This leaves little to the imagination as to what Samsung will announce, so if you have been eagerly anticipating the company’s new foldable phones, then mark the 11th of August down on your calendar.

In addition to the new foldable phones, the rumors have also claimed that the event will see Samsung announce a new Galaxy Watch powered by the new wearable operating system that Samsung and Google announced at I/O earlier this year.

That being said, the launch date for the phones themselves seem to be a bit up in the air at the moment. Reports out of Korea have claimed that Samsung is apparently exploring two possible launch dates –  the 20th of August or the 27th of August.

Some say the reason they are unsure is because the date will be quite close to the iPhone 13’s launch and Samsung doesn’t want the announcement from Apple to distract from their sales.
