In just a few hours Google will officially kick off I/O 2014 with the keynote speech. We are expecting big things from this event: Android Wear, Android L, the Moto 360, Google Fit, Android TV, and much more. However, the one thing that many people are excited about is the traditional giveaway at the end. Google always treats their developers well with free devices. This year will be no different.

I/O attendees are the real lucky people, but for the rest of us the giveaway is still exciting. The devices that Google gives out will soon show up in reviews, and sometimes if you’re luck you can snag them off of eBay. The list of potential devices to give away is very large this year. Will it be a watch? Tablet? Android TV? Phone? All four? It’s time to get your betting hats on and make some picks. What will Google give away today?

P.S. Make sure to watch the event live right from the Phandroid.com homepage!

Ever since I flipped open my first phone I've been obsessed with the devices. I've dabbled in other platforms, but Android is where I feel most at home.

  8. The best give away of all will be for all of us. An updated version of the free and open-source Linux-based operating system, Android.

  9. Funny how you remove my comment… This article should be removed. How is this relevant to the readers?

    1. Because so of the readers are going to I/O?

Even those of us who aren’t can still have fun guessing… The article is pretty short, was it really that much trouble to read it?

  10. So what was actually given away?

    1. LG OR Sammy watch, cardboard(didn’t quite catch why), and the Moto 360 when it comes out.

      1. Inside the cardboard is the new Nexus 9 tablet.

  11. #cardboard
