Some of you might recall that back in 2022, Blizzard announced an upcoming mobile game called Warcraft Arclight Rumble. For those wondering about the development progress on the game, you might be pleased to learn that the company has revealed that it has entered into a new testing phase and has also been soft launched.
One of the notable changes to the game is actually in its name, where instead of being called Warcraft Arclight Rumble, it will now simply be known as Warcraft Rumble, which is admittedly more catchy and also less of a mouthful to pronounce. As for the soft launch status, the game will only be available in the Philippines to start with, but we imagine that Blizzard will eventually expand its availability over time.
In case you’re learning about Warcraft Rumble for the first time, it is a mobile game based on the Warcraft universe. Its gameplay style is similar to games such as Clash Royale where players can collect “cards” and strategize ways of beating their opponents. The game will be available on both iOS and Android but there will be some hardware requirements.
For iOS, users will need to own an iPhone 6s or later with iOS 13 and at least 2GB of RAM. For Android, users will need a phone with a Snapdragon 675 or Exynos 8890 or better, a GPU that supports OpenGLES 3.1 or higher, an Adreno 612/Mali-T880 MP12 or better GPU, at least 3GB of RAM, and their devices will need to be running on Android 5.1 or later.
Blizzard still hasn’t provided a release date for the game, but gamers who are interested can pre-register for it via Blizzard’s website.
