Poco’s next smartphone teased on Twitter

If you’re a fan of Poco’s smartphones, then you might be interested to learn that the company could have a new handset in the works according to a post on Twitter. While there is no mention of the phone in question, it is believed that it will most likely be the Poco M5.

Also, the teaser image doesn’t mention the model in question, but it does reveal the “G99” name, which is speculated to indicate that the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. There is no mention of when the phone will be launched, but the teaser does suggest that it could be launching in the near future.

As for the rest of the specs, it has been speculated that it will most likely be a 4G LTE handset and will come with a 6.58-inch display with a HD+ resolution .It has also been suggested that the phone will come with a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support, which all things considered isn’t too shabby.

The Poco M4 5G was originally announced earlier this year with a $170 price tag, so we imagine that the Poco M5 will most likely end up being priced around the same range, or potentially even cheaper seeing as it lacks 5G capabilities. Either way, we should know soon enough so check back later for more updates.
