Xiaomi’s next foldable could maintain its 67W fast charging speeds

0

Last year, Xiaomi finally hopped on board the foldable bandwagon with the Xiaomi Mix Fold. If the rumors are to be believed, the company is expected to follow up with a new phone later this year, and now thanks to listing on the 3C certification website, some details about the phone have been revealed.

In a tweet by Mukul Sharma, he shared a screengrab of the 3C website that shows the Mix Fold 2’s listing. While the full specs of the phone still remains a bit of a mystery, the listing does seem to confirm that the handset will come with support for 67W fast charging. This is the same as the Mix Fold from 2021, so at least Xiaomi is maintaining those speeds.

It is a bit of a wasted opportunity considering that Xiaomi is one of the companies at the forefront of some pretty crazy charging technology, so it’s a shame if they aren’t bringing that to the Mix Fold 2.

Other rumored specs of the phone include the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, and that the outer display will be of the 6.5-inch variety while the inner display will unfold to be 8-inches. It is also said that the phone could pack a 5,000mAh battery and there will also be stylus support.
