Huawei is drumming up to a big November announcement. The company has just issued save the dates for November 3rd. The company’s CEO Richard Yu will be on hand, too, so it’s bound to be significant news on a new device.
Huawei’s unleashed their mid-range darling for the 2nd half of 2016, and now it’s time for a new flagship. We’re putting our best on an unveiling for the Huawei Mate 9, a device which should prove to be one of Huawei’s most compelling devices yet. Here’s what we’re looking at under the hood:
- 5.9-inch QHD Display
- Kirin 960 Processor
- 4GB/6GB RAM
- 64GB/128GB/256GB Storage
- 20MP rear camera
- 4,000mAh battery
- Android 7.0 Nougat
Beyond that, we’re hearing that Huawei will borrow their P9’s Leica-made dual camera configuration, only they’ll be stacked on top of each other instead of sitting side by side. The devices are expected to start at around $480, with the price increasing based on which storage and RAM configuration you’re looking for. Circle back to Phandroid November 3rd once the details go official.
