Pokemon GO player crashes into police car, blames “Dumb A** game” [VIDEO]

0

Pokemon GO has become the most popular game in the world and with great addiction comes lack of responsibility. People who are cheating at Pokemon GO get banned, but people who drive and play Pokemon GO should expect to endure far worse circumstances. Such was the case in Baltimore this week when an officer’s body cam caught footage of a Toyota Rav 4 veering out of their lane and slamming into a parked police car:

The officers calmly pursued the vehicle – which had quickly pulled over – and first asked if everyone was okay. Stepping out of the vehicle the driver was quick to place blame: “That’s what I get for playing this dumb ass game.”

“That’s what I get for playing this dumb a** game.”

Indeed. There he was, facepalming his own self, holding up his active game of Pokemon GO in a show of pure self defeat. #PokePwnd

Not that anyone “deserves” to crash for playing Pokemon GO on the go, but this particular driver is lucky nobody was hurt. Unlucky the car he hit was a police car, but it could have been much worse.

We’ve seen plenty of other idiotic Pokemon GO moments, but considering the game has become so massively popular, the power of numbers guarantees that idiotic things are likely to happen. Once drones and virtual reality headsets expand in popularity, expect lots of similarly idiotic happenings to surface in those areas of interest.
