Leaked Samsung update roadmap shows Galaxy flagships getting Marshmallow in March

0

We always knew the December expectation for Marshmallow on Samsung’s phones was always a long shot, and even when new alleged roadmaps tipped January we remained skeptical. Welp, it’s March, so where do we stand now?

A new leaked roadmap obtained by PhoneArena shows that Samsung is now targeting March for widespread rollouts to their flagship phones. That list includes the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Others are slated for April or later. Here’s the full supposed list:

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 5 – March 2016
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ – March 2016
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 – March 2016
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge – March 2016
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 4 – April 2016
  • Samsung Galaxy Note Edge – April 2016
  • Samsung Galaxy S5 – May 2016
  • Samsung Galaxy Alpha – June 2016
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8″ – May 2016
  • Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7″ – May 2016

Any further delays and we wouldn’t blame you for taking a picket sign to Samsung’s front lawn (even if they haven’t publicly promised any timelines). Fingers crossed that they can get it out before the Marshmallow turns stale.
