HTC One A9 (Aero) tipped with very modest specs, could mean more affordable pricing

@evleaks is out of retirement (again) and doing what he does best: leaking information on upcoming devices. This time, he’s dropping some hardware details the rumored HTC A9 (aka One A9, Hima) which he says is set to launch in November of this year. Here’s the gist of it:

HTC One A9 (Hima Aero) specs

  • Snapdragon 617
  • 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display
  • 16GB internal storage with micro SD card slot
  • 2GB RAM
  • 4MP (UltraPixel) front facing camera
  • 13MP rear camera with OIS BSI sensor
  • Fingerprint reader
  • Metal build ~7mm thin
  • 6 available colors

While the specs aren’t the most impressive we’ve seen (far from it, in fact), something tells us HTC will be gunning for the more mid-range affordable market. If priced below $300 — and with NFC — this could be yet another affordable Android device to give OnePlus a run for their money.
