Facebook Messenger version 9 now lets you reply to messages from your Android Wear smart watch

Facebook Messenger fans who are hankering to be able to reply to messages from their wrists will be happy to learn that the latest update adds Android Wear support! We’ve hit version 9, which will allow you to use your voice to compose responses and send them without having to whip your phone out of your pocket.

Facebook also notes that “some” users will be able to send the standard thumbs up response in case you’re at a loss for words, as well as the ability to mute notifications from actions on your phone or Android Wear smart watch. Facebook Messenger for Android has been one great experience so far, and with this update it’s getting even better. Makes you wonder why the actual Facebook app doesn’t get nearly the same type of treatment. Grab the app from Google Play using the links below.
