HTC drops another “all new HTC One” teaser video, this time talking about metal

Excited for the launch of the all new HTC One on March 25th? So is HTC, obviously. That’s why the Taiwanese company has started hyping the device up with these technical translation teaser videos. The first one sort of (but kind of didn’t) told us about the changes to the front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers. Now, we’re getting a taste of metal.

Of course, HTC didn’t actually reveal any useful information in the video — the bits with the phone were pixelated and the commentary track was replaced with awesome-sounding guitar riffs. The company is leaving it up to our imagination until the big unveiling later this month, though countless leaks (including a whopping 12 minute hands-on video) are helping us do that without an issue. The video’s sitting up above and waiting for your drool, so hit the play button and see for yourself.

  1. Sorry to say this, but after that leak, I dont see the point in these teasers anymore lol, HTC I love y’all, but if that leaked video displayed the actual phone, y’all might as well just reveal the phone already. I’m just saying. Buuut I am hoping that wasn’t the actual M8

    1. That definitely was the phone

      1. Come on now, don’t kill my hopes

  2. what is so great about a metal unibody? just wondering if it is worth it over a removable cover (which can be covered in a premium case if you want) that allows for expendable storage and battery?

    1. AFAIK the new HTC One will have expandable storage (unlike the original HTC One)

  3. Eh they can stop with the “tease” pretty much everyone already knows what the phone will look like. Lol

    1. There are those select few that are disconnected…

  4. Does anyone know if it’ll be waterproof? I hear mixed reports

    1. Seriously doubt that…

      1. yeah prob not with those large speaker grills

  5. I think it’s the phone but not the final software, wallpaper, etc. I thought it looked great. I have an S4 and I’m done with getting a bunch of software I don’t want or use and a fugly physical home button.

  6. If they launch a nice watch with it I will surely buy!

  7. Guess it’ll be called the “all new HTC One” afterall…
