The Xperia TL is AT&T’s version of the Sony Xperia T, a phone first announced back at IFA in early September, and features an identical hardware profile. This includes a 4.6-inch 720p HD Reality display, 12MP camera, and a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor.

The Ice Cream Sandwich handset will come bundled with Skyfall-inspired ringtones, wallpapers, and other goodies mirroring Sony’s initiative to brand the phone among James Bond’s many gadgets in the upcoming film (produced by Sony Pictures). The phone will also ship with a sample SmartTag, which can be programmed using the Xperia TL’s NFC chip. No precise details on pricing and availability were released.

  1. wonder if it will run on tmo bands…..

    1. I hope so. It will probably be cheaper to buy it from AT&T then import the phone from overseas.

    2. Yes it will… or at least the International verison will.

  2. Launching with ICS? Really? ICS has been out 11 months already. It’s old.

    1. OMGZORZ!

    2. Gosh shush already with this

    3. Slowny Style. Probably gonna wait until July next year to have JB.

  4. What a sexy device . . .

  5. RELEASE THE DAMN DATE ALREADY! We know its there

  6. Why not Jelly Bean? Smh

  7. Ram? and price?

    1. 1GB of RAM and my guess on 2 yr contract price is $99.

      1. Thanks dude so basically SGS3 still has better specs 2GB RAM and Jelly Bean and is also $99 Now!

        1. Well yeah. Where is the SGS3 $99 at? Still waiting on the jelly bean update for the at&t version.

          1. Here is the Link its on tmobile at $99 http://galaxy-s.t-mobile.com/samsung-galaxy-s3 and presumably will be at $49.99 on T-Mobile and sprint during black Friday!

  8. I wish Sony would concentrate on fewer, better phones rather than announcing a new phone every month that is exactly the same as the one that came before it. All the 2012 Xperia models basically have the same internal specs, with a few tweaks here and there. The only difference is the outer shell, and even then, they still look similar. I love my Ion, but I can’t help but wonder how much better it would have been if Sony didn’t have so many other mobile phones in the works. Sony says the T is the new “Flagship” phone. But once they announce their next high end phone, that goes out the window. I mean, look at what happened to the Ion.

  9. not impressed
